Hens enjoying their pasture - note the ones in the tree

The SuperCoop - one of three coops we have. This one we constructed ourselves on an old hay wagon platform. The coop is 7x15, holds up to 70 chickens, and is insulated, paneled and has electricity.

The Mini-Coop - our first coop which we purchased online, then insulated and paneled ourselves. It's a mobile 6x8 coop that houses up to 25 chickens. Shown here at pasture with the electric Poultry Net fencing that contains the yard. The coops are moved to fresh pasture every few weeks.

Our third coop - also bought online, but then we added electric, insulation and paneling. This is a 10x10 that holds 60 chickens and we call it the "Coop de Ville". We added an 8x10 extension (paneled in white) to this coop to give the hens more room in the wintertime. They can also roam under the coop, which we enclosed with clear panels to allow light to get in, but keep predators out.
